Two bodies, gun, found in house in Anne Arundel; not random, police say

The bodies of a man who had been fatally shot and a woman who had died after suffering unspecified injuries or wounds were found Monday in a house in the Lothian area of Anne Arundel County, police said. They were found about 1 p.m. in a house in the 600 block of West Bay Front Road, the police said. The man identified as Anthony Joseph Anastasi Jr., 42. A weapon was fund near his body, police said. The woman’s name was withheld until relatives could be notified. Autopsies are to be conducted. The man was found in the master bedroom, the woman in the basement, police said. Police termed the deaths suspicious and said it appeared that what happened was not a random act. |
