She had 15 stab wounds to the abdomen and a further slash wound which were caused after death, Mr Mousley added.
Various injuries "were consistent with a hand being held over the mouth, causing suffocation" and also suggested "a violent struggle", the court was told.
"The experts reached the conclusion that it would have been easier to have carried out that exercise if more than one person would have been involved," said the prosecutor.
