Coastguards received a call just after 7.40pm on 11 September from police and ambulance service for assistance in recovering a person from the water. Bembridge RNLI, Solent coastguard, Sandown and Shanklin inshore rescue team and a coastguard helicopter were despatched in an operation that lasted up to 90 minutes, a spokeswoman said
