Police are still investigating the cause of Thursday night's crash which happened in road conditions described as cold, but not icy. School governor Malcolm Williams described the girls as "talented" and said two of them had been due to take lead parts in a forthcoming school production.
"It's a tragic time for all the families and the school as a whole," he said.
Mr Williams said the community was pulling together.
"They're doing a wonderful job for the families and the pupils," he added.
The school's chairman of governors, Ioan Edwards, said coming to terms with the deaths of the four girls would be a "long-term situation" within the school.
He said he thought there would be a memorial, which would be discussed later that day.
