Hidir Aksakal Epping Forest murder: Second man charged

Yilmaz Coskun, 35, is due to appear before magistrates in Barkingside on Thursday in connection with the death of Turkish national Hidir Aksakal. Mr Aksakal, 53, who was also known as Boxer Cetin and Musa Yakut, was found near Hollow Ponds on 9 September. Remzi Akguc, 40, is also accused of the murder and is due at the Old Bailey for a plea hearing on 15 December. Two further men have been arrested in connection with the death and released on bail. The victim was living in Margate, Kent, but had previously lived in the Green Lanes area of Haringey, where he was last seen alive on 17 August. A post-mortem examination revealed his body may have lain undiscovered in the woods for several weeks. |
