The men, believed to be in their 50s, were cleaning windows at a building on Pitt Street near the Bridge Street intersection when a cable snapped on their platform, according to witnesses, just after 11am on Tuesday. | |
The men were about 12 storeys up, witnesses said. Both men landed on the building’s awning, with many pedestrians rushing to help them before paramedics arrived. | |
