Man pleads guilty to racist attack on pensioner on bus
Version 0 of 1. A man charged in connection with a racist attack on a pensioner on a bus has pleaded guilty, police said. Kashif Samuels, 25, plead guilty to a racially aggravated public order offence, Scotland Yard said. He was charged over an incident on a packed 149 service in Tottenham, north London, on 15 October. Video footage posted on social media showed the pensioner being shouted at before his walking frame was thrown off the bus. Samuels will appear at Highbury Corner magistrates court on 5 November for sentencing, a Scotland Yard spokesman said. |
