The Room – which has been described as “the Citizen Kane of bad movies” – has been given a new lease of life outside the midnight-movie circuit by The Disaster Artist, a feature film adaption – about to go into production – of the book by Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell about the making of The Room. Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Wiseau (who has been described as “the Orson Welles of crap”), said he was “partially involved” with The Disaster Artist and, on the back of continuing interest in The Room, “we’re thinking of [remaking it] in 3D.
