Man shot in Southeast in September has died of injuries, D.C. police say
Version 0 of 1. A man who shot and wounded in a September triple shooting in Southeast Washington died at a hospital on Monday, according to D.C. police. He is the second person to die from that shooting. The man who died this week was identified as Kenneth Evans, 45, of Northwest. The other victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, had been identified as Thomas Stalling, 50, of District Heights, Md. The condition of the third victim, who was critically injured, has been updated by police. [Elvans Road has seen several killings since 2011] The shooting occurred a few minutes before midnight on Sept. 26 in the 2500 block of Elvans Road Southeast. No arrests have been made. Monday’s death brings to six the number of people killed in a three-block span of Elvans Road since 2011. |
