Sheffield man charged with murder of Rory Hemmings

A man has been charged with the murder of a man who died after being stabbed in the chest.

Steven Ray, 36, from Heeley, in Sheffield, is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court later charged with killing Rory Hemmings.

Mr Hemmings, 29, was found injured at a house in Errington Crescent on Sunday but later died.

A post mortem examination revealed he had died from a single stab wound to the chest.

A 27-year-old woman arrested in connection with the incident has been release without charge, South Yorkshire Police said.
