A man died in a crash in Bowie on Thursday afternoon, the second fatal vehicle collision in the area in less than 24 hours.

Officer Harry Bond, a Prince George’s police spokesman, said that two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of Laurel Bowie Road and Loblolly Pine Drive at 12:50 p.m. The driver of one vehicle was killed, and the two occupants of the other suffered injuries that were not life-threatening injuries.

Late Wednesday night, two people died when their ATV crashed into an SUV, also in Bowie.
