Two bodies have been found amid the debris of a house that burned Thursday in Anne Arundel County, authorities said. The blaze in the Severn area indicated the presence of suspicious factors, the county fire department said.

The first body found was identified only as that of a white woman. It was found Thursday shortly after the blaze was brought under control a house in the 1200 block of Old Camp Road, the fire department said.

After heavy debris was moved at the site Friday, the second body was found, identified only as that of a white male, the fire department said.

The fire department said the house was under construction; they said it had been damaged by fire in February.

Both police and fire department investigators are looking into the blaze, the fire department said.
