Police in Prince George’s County investigate two homicides
Version 0 of 1. Police in Prince George’s County said two men were killed in homicides that happened in two different spots in the area. One incident happened around 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 5000 block of 53rd Place in the Hyattsville area. In that incident, police responded to a report of a shooting, and when they arrived they found a man with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The other shooting occurred around the same time in the 9900 block of Good Luck Road in the Glendale area. Authorities said they got a call reporting a shooting, and when they arrived they found a man who was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police. In that case, police said in a Twitter message that their initial investigation shows that the incident “does not appear random.” Police said both cases are under investigation.
