Supermarket drinks lorry overturns in Mansfield Woodhouse

A lorry carrying alcoholic drinks and other goods has crashed at a junction in a Nottinghamshire town, spilling part of its load on the street.

The lorry overturned shortly before 11:00 GMT on Leeming Lane at the junction with Peafield Lane, in Mansfield Woodhouse.

The Mansfield Chad said the Asda lorry had flattened a pedestrian crossing.

The road is partially closed as a result of the crash, a witness at the scene said.

It is not thought anyone was hurt but closures will remain in place for some time.
