Six arrested after teenager stabbed in Preston

Six people including a 13-year-old have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the stomach.

A fight behind the Black Horse pub in Preston was reported at 17:00 GMT on Monday.

The 18-year-old victim suffered a single stab wound to his stomach and was taken to hospital with "life-threatening" injuries.

Six males aged between 13 and 25 were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent, Lancashire Police said.

Det Insp Richard McCutcheon said: "This was a violent attack which has left a man in a serious condition in hospital.

"We are appealing for witnesses and would urge anybody with information to contact police."
