There were no damehoods or knighthoods for serving local government bosses in the honours list, published on 31 December 2015, but Heather Rabbatts, now a non-executive director of the Football Association, who was chief executive of the London borough of Lambeth from 1995 to 2000, is made a dame, as is Glenys Stacey.
