The incidents both took place on 23 November. The first occurred at around 9:50am on a route 259 bus on Seven Sisters Road, which joins Holloway with south Tottenham. According to a spokesperson for the Met Police: “Passengers on the bus intervened after the man, who made Islamophobic remarks to the woman, advanced towards her raising his hand as though he was going to hit her.
