Version 0 of 1.

Arsonists in Limavady are playing Russian roulette with people's lives, the fire and rescue service has said.

The PSNI has said there have been more than 20 arson attacks in the area in the last month.

In the latest incident, three homes were destroyed in the town's Anderson Park on Saturday morning.

William Lynch of the fire service said he feared it was only a matter of time before someone was killed.

"We're extremely concerned, as indeed the fire service has been from the start," he said.

"We can see the potential there to have a loss of life or serious injury in these fires.

"It's come to a situation now that it's likely only a matter of time, I believe, until that does happen."

An oil tank is believed to have been set alight in the latest fire, which also left two house badly smoke damaged.

A car was also badly damaged in the fire.
