At about 3 a.m., police said, the same man robbed a person at Ninth Street and Missouri Avenue NW in Brightwood. A man in a car purposely rear-ended a vehicle, then robbed the driver of money, police said. | |

Also on Thursday, police arrested a suspect in connection with a Jan. 5 armed robbery of a person in the 4300 block of Ninth Street SE in Washington Highlands. In that incident, police said, an armed man approached a pedestrian, demanded money, then pushed her down while stealing her purse. | |
