Serious injury in crash outside Nationals Park Sunday afternoon
Version 0 of 1. A driver was thrown from a car and suffered what appeared to be life-threatening injuries in a crash in the District Sunday afternoon just outside Nationals Park. A woman and a child in a second vehicle were taken to hospitals with what were thought to be non lifethreatening injuries, said Lt. Sean Conboy, a D.C. police spokesman. The crash occurred about 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, Conboy said. One local television station said the crash was connected to a chase involving the D.C. police. Asked specifically Sunday night about the report, Conboy said only that the circumstances of the crash remained under investigation. |
