Quick arrest in fatal daytime stabbing on Springfield sidewalk
Version 0 of 1. A Springfield man has been charged with murder in a fatal stabbing on a sidewalk in broad daylight, apparently prompted by an argument over a drug deal, police said. Dilshad Dosky, 20, was arrested Wednesday night, several hours after he allegedly stabbed Shaki E. Phillip, 19, in the 7400 block of Loughboro Lane, Fairfax County police said. Roger Henriquez, a police spokesman, said that police initially were looking for two men in their late teens or early 20s, based on witness statements at the scene of the stabbing. Investigators’ interviews quickly led them to conclude that Dosky was the only one responsible, Henriquez said. Police found him at his home that night. Henriquez said that officers are investigating to fully understand the circumstances surrounding the crime. So far, they think that the two men met for a drug deal — Henriquez said he does not know which man was selling drugs and which one was buying — then got into an argument. |
