A young mother and her nine-month-old baby have been reported missing from their home in Reading. A young mother and her nine-month-old baby have been found safe after going missing for two days.
Police said they were "concerned for the welfare" of Chloe Keates, 20, and her son, who were last seen in Amethyst Lane at 13:30 GMT on Wednesday. Chloe Keates, 20, and her son, disappeared on Wednesday afternoon and were last seen in Amethyst Lane, Reading, at 13.30 GMT.
Ms Keates is white, 5ft 4ins (1.6m), with mousey blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a green top, jeans and a black Puffa-style jacket. After police made an appeal on Thursday the pair were found safe earlier.
She was thought to have had a black suitcase. Her son was in a babygrow. Spokeswoman Hannah Jones said: "Thames Valley Police would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in helping to locate them."
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Jones said: "If Chloe sees this appeal could she please get in contact with us so we can check on her welfare."
Det Insp Rod Howell added that police would like "to trace Chloe and her son as soon as possible".
