Prince George’s County police have arrested a man in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old in Seat Pleasant on Thursday afternoon.

Sammie Warren, 19, of Oxon Hill, was charged on Friday with involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and gun charges. Police said they believe Warren unintentionally shot his friend, Marcus Fogg, 19, also of Oxon Hill.

Police said the shooting occurred about 1:30 p.m. inside a house in the 6700 block of James Farmer Way. Police in a statement that the “preliminary investigation reveals Warren unintentionally shot his gun, striking the victim. He has admitted his involvement in the fatal shooting.”

Authorities did not divulge additional details.
