Men’s basketball: Sophomore forward Isaac Copeland was selected to the Big East weekly honor roll on Monday after averaging 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor (12 of 21) in a pair of games last week. In the win over St. John’s, he tied his career high of 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds and handed out three assists. Overall this season, he is third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game, and is second on the team with 5.1 rebounds per game.

Women’s basketball: Georgetown (14-11, 7-8 Big East) went 1-1 on the road over the weekend, defeating Seton Hall, 73-65, on Friday before falling to St. John’s, 63-55, on Sunday. Against the Pirates, five Hoyas scored in double figures, led by 21 points from Faith Woodard. Dionna White just missed out on a triple-double with 12 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. The Hoyas will close out the regular season with a three-game homestand, starting Sunday vs. Villanova.

Track and field: All-American Andrea Keklak continued her stellar indoor season on Friday by breaking the school record in the women’s mile at the BU Valentine Invitational, clocking 4:33.24 for the third-fastest collegiate mile this season. This is Keklak’s third school record this season as she previously broke the 1,000 meters and ran the leadoff leg of the record-setting women’s distance medley relay. All-American Ahmed Bile, a local product out of Annandale, Va., won the men’s 3,000 meters at the Valentine Invitational with a time of 7:51.77. His time narrowly missed a school record and is the second-fastest in program history and currently the ninth-fastest in the country .

Swimming and diving: The Hoyas concluded their regular season by sending 12 seniors out with a victory over Providence College on Saturday afternoon at McCarthy Pool. The men defeated the Friars, 166-111, while the women earned a 163-123 win on Senior Day. The Blue & Gray earned first-place points in each of the first 22 swimming events of the meet with the Friars. GU opened the dual meet in strong form, as the women and men each captured the top three places in the 200-yard medley relay.

Men’s tennis: Georgetown won its second match of the season, 4-3 over Monmouth. The Hoyas secured the doubles point as Michael Chen and Jordan Portner claimed the No. 1 spot, 6-1, and Peter Beatty and Yannik Mahlangu were victorious at the No. 2 spot. In singles play, the Blue & Gray were led by Beatty who defeated Monmouth’s Ale Gomez, 6-4, 6-3, in the No. 3 spot.

Women’s lacrosse: Georgetown fell to Delaware, 10-6, in the season opener on Friday. Corinne Etchison led the way with two goals and two assists while Morgan Rubin added two goals and Francesca Whitehurst chipped in two assists. Six players tallied a point for the Hoyas in the loss. Overall, Georgetown outshot the Blue Hens, 28-23 and pulled in 11 draw controls to Delaware’s seven.

Softball: The Hoyas opened the season 1-2 at the Charleston Southern Tournament last weekend. GU fell to Towson but bounced back with a 13-6 win over IPFW. The Hoyas were led by Theresa Kane, who averaged seven hits and five runs for a .583 batting average. On the mound, Samantha Giovanniello finished the weekend with a 2.00 ERA and nine strikeouts.
