It's World Book Day. Thousands of children are excited to dress up as a characters from their favourite stories. And thousands of parents have to help get a costume together. It's World Book Day. What do you send your bundle of joy off to school dressed up as? Harry Potter, Pippi Longstocking or - er - the Argos catalogue?

However, Twitter shows the exasperation of many parents over World Book Day. Deciding books, finding outfits, and the extra demands of getting ready for school on such a day. Comedian Joe Heenan admits the whole thing can get overlooked.
Journalist and radio presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer summed up the balance of affections.

Comedian Joe Heenan admits that World Book Day was slightly overlooked in his family. So with the pressure of the school-run deadline, he had to be creative.
