Man held over sex assault on girl, 8, in Greggs bakery

A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old girl in a bakery.

The child was assaulted in Greggs at The Headrow in Leeds while her mother was at the counter, West Yorkshire Police said.

It happened at about 15:30 GMT on 12 February.

The arrested man - a 34-year-old from the Bradford area - was released on bail pending further enquiries.
