(Noon): London's leading shares edged higher in early Monday trading, with mining stocks leading the gainers. (Close): London's leading shares ended higher on Monday, with mining stocks among the day's best gainers.
By lunchtime, the benchmark FTSE 100 index was up 27.87 points or 0.45% to 6,167.66. The benchmark FTSE 100 index closed up 34.78 points or 0.57% to 6,174.57.
