Armed police have locked down a southern area of Brussels as they hunt for at least one gunman who shot at security forces during a raid as part of the investigation into November’s Paris attacks. One man has been found dead after a police raid in southern Brussels, while four police officers were wounded in the operation linked to the Paris terrorist attacks in November.
A spokeswoman for the local police service in southern Brussels said two officers were lightly wounded in an initial incident and a third was also slightly hurt later. The operation was still ongoing, with police still looking for two other suspects, according to Belgian state broadcaster RTBF.
