Police say woman was sexually assaulted, robbed in Southeast Washington
Version 0 of 1. D.C. police are searching for two men who authorities said sexually assaulted and robbed a woman early March 18 in the basement of a building in Southeast Washington. Police said the attack occurred between 3 and 4 a.m. in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in the Barry Farm neighborhood. Police said the woman was exiting a building when the men, one armed with a handgun, forced her into the basement of the building. One man is described as black, in his 30s, standing between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches with a dark complexion. Police said he was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, shoulder-length dreadlocks and had a surgical mask around his neck. He also had a sore on his bottom lip. The second man is described as black in his late 20s, standing 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds, with a medium complexion. He was wearing a red jacket, a baseball hat and was armed with a handgun. Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
