Terror group Isis has claimed responsibility for the Brussels attacks which killed at least 30 people. Belgian media has named two suicide bombers involved in the attacks in Brussels as brothers Khalid and Ibrahim, also known as Brahim, el-Bakraoui.
Dozens of people were injured in two explosions at Brussels Airport and in one at Maalbeek Metro Station on Tuesday morning. At least one of the blasts at the airport is likely to have been carried out by a suicide bomber. Another man, who appeared on a CCTV image from the airport, has been named as Najim Laachraoui by Belgian newspaper La Dernier Heure.
Brussels was initially on lockdown but people have now been told that they can start to move around again. On Tuesday morning, there were two explosions at the airport. Shortly after, there was a third explosion at Maalbeek Metro Station.
The terror alert has been raised to its highest level. Security across Europe has been tightened. Terror group Isis claimed responsibility for the attacks, which killed at least 31 people and wounded up to 270 others.
