He tweets incessantly about the senator and is part of a national online network of activists promoting Sanders’ platform and ideas on the web. Environment: One of Strait’s most pressing concerns is climate change. As part of his commitment to the environment, he installed solar panels on his Prince George’s County home. He told voters recently that he pays little for energy these days. Military: Strait, who is originally from Indiana, enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school and went to college after his service.
