Three bodies have been found at a house in Leeds, police have confirmed. Police are investigating after three bodies were found at a house in Leeds.
West Yorkshire police said there appeared to have been a small fire at the premises in East End Park in Leeds where the bodies were found. Shortly before noon on Sunday, West Yorkshire police received a call raising concerns for the occupants of an address in East End Park.
Acting detective inspector Mark Atkinson told ITV news: “Our inquiries are at a very early stage and we are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths. Police, fire and ambulance services attended the terraced house and found the bodies of two women and a man thought to be in their 20s or 30s. There was evidence of a small fire that appeared to have gone out in the early hours of Saturday morning.
“Initial indications are there has been a small fire at the premises. Forensic postmortems will be held to establish how the three people found inside the property have died.” The women are believed to have been the occupants and the man their friend.
Police were called to the property in East End Park shortly before midday on Easter Sunday. Officers believe the bodies may have been there for more than a day.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that three bodies were found at the address. Inquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances. Police are not believed to be looking for any other people in connection with the deaths at this time.
