A father and son remain unaccounted for after his wife and their other boy were taken to hospital following a serious fire at their home. The remains of a child have been recovered following a serious fire at a house in the village of Foyers, east of Loch Ness.
Police and firefighters have begun an investigation into the cause of the blaze at Glenlia, Foyers, on the east side of Loch Ness. The boy's father remains unaccounted for while his mother and brother were treated for smoke inhalation.
The mother and son were treated at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for smoke inhalation. The search at the house was suspended on Friday evening shortly after the find was made.
