According to Reuters, ten people were wounded when a passing an explosion hit a passing police vehicle. Ambulances rushed to the scene. According to Reuters, 14 people, including police and civilians, were wounded in a car bomb attack on a minibus carrying police special forces, a security source said. 
AFP news agency added that three of those injured were members of Turkish security forces. Turkey's security forces are engaged in an operation against Kurdish rebels from the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in the region. Diyarbakir is the largest city in Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast and has been hit by waves of violence in fighting between the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the government.
