Virginia man killed in early Sunday crash after veering off Beltway exit ramp
Version 0 of 1. A Virginia man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving hurtled off a bridge while exiting the outer loop of the Capital Beltway, Maryland State Police said. Police said they suspect the man, Jose Leonel Bonilla Torres, 23, of Herndon, had been drinking. According to a news release, Torres was taking the Connecticut Avenue exit from Interstate 495 around 2:46 a.m. when his car veered off the ramp, struck the side of the bridge and landed on Kensington Parkway below. Troopers found Torres ejected from his silver Scion TC and pronounced him dead on the scene. He had no passengers, and no other vehicles were involved. |
