The woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham with severe burns to her legs, stomach and hands. In a separate incident, Liberal Democrat councillor Tom Wells who represents Powick, was badly burned by a bonfire at his home in Callow End on Friday.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said it sent three fire engines to the scene at 20:30 BST on Saturday. Both were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
Mr Wells is expected to remain in hospital for up to 8 weeks.
