No Trust in the Electoral Process
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/30/opinion/no-trust-in-the-electoral-process.html Version 0 of 1. To the Editor: Re “The Cult of Sore Losers,” by Frank Bruni (column, April 27): The American people simply don’t trust the electoral process anymore. They don’t trust the rules governing who can vote, they don’t trust the people in charge of administering the polling stations, they don’t trust the machines, and they don’t trust the way delegates are assigned. After the Bush v. Gore fiasco, many of us assumed that the government would move to clean all of this up. It hasn’t. WILLIAM COLE Sitges, Spain |
