Ms Dunbar is a successful model and Miss Teen UK finalist. Ms Langeveldt said she was relieved her daughter had been found.
She has had success despite suffering with Bell's Palsy. a condition which paralyses facial nerves. "I'm emotional and happy," she said.
Kovi was born in Zimbabwe but moved to Cwmbran two years ago with her family.
She was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy soon after coming to the UK and her mother entered her into a beauty competition to boost her confidence.
Kovi went on to represent Wales in the final of Miss Teen UK and Miss Teen Britain last year.
Gwent Police had said Kovi was last seen at home on 2 April.
