Version 0 of 1.

A driver has been given a suspended sentence for leaving the handbrake off his van - causing it to roll across a car park and kill a woman.

Matheeb Iqbal, 23, from Birmingham, was delivering to a pub in Southam, Warwickshire when his van struck Susan Collins.

He admitted causing death by careless driving at Warwick Crown Court and was given a 30-week suspended jail term.

Ms Collins' husband also died as a result of a careless driver in 2011.

Following the sentence, her family said in a statement: "Words cannot express how we feel as a family for being in this position for a second time.

"To lose our beautiful mother due to another driver's careless actions is beyond belief."

Iqbal, from Lime Grove, Lozells, was banned from driving for a year and must complete a compulsory driving retest from April 2017.

He was also given 200 hours community service.
