Two bailed after man shot while driving car in Leyton

A 24-year-old man who died in a shooting in London was shot dead at the wheel of his car, police have said.

Police said they have not established a motive for the shooting, which happened in Leyton at 03:15 BST on Saturday.

Detectives believe that after shots were fired, the driver reversed in an attempt to escape but crashed into a parked vehicle.

Two men, aged 19 and 31, who were arrested on suspicion of murder, have been bailed.
