Boy, 10, hit by bus in Minehead

A 10-year-old boy has been struck by a bus in a Somerset town.

The collision happened at about 08:45 BST on King Edward Road in Minehead, Avon and Somerset Police said.

The boy was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton, where he was treated for "non serious" head injuries.

A police spokesman said an investigation had been launched and officers are appealing with anyone with information to contact them.
