Police were called at about 10:30 BST on Friday to The Avenue in Hampton, Richmond-Upon Thames, close to a Sainsbury's supermarket.
Three women were found with stab injuries at the store's car park. A fourth woman was found at a property nearby.
London Ambulance Service said the women were treated at the scene for stab wounds to the chest, legs and back.
One of the victims, aged 53, was taken to a major trauma centre by an air ambulance while three others, aged 67, 62 and 71 years old were taken by road to a south London hospital as "priority".
