Next-door-neighbour Rachel Clifford told BBC News that she only met the suspect recently after she knocked on the door to complain about loud, Islamic-sounding music.
"I remember feeling quite unnerved," she said after the man who answered the door first had to unlock 10 or 12 different bolts. She said he was wearing white Islamic dress.
