The families of two missing boys from Manchester have been described as “frantic with worry” after police issued an appeal for help to find them. Police have thanked the public for their overwhelming response after they appealed for help to find two missing boys who have now been found safe and well.
Reo Ulett, 11, and Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert, nine, are believed to be together and have been missing since Monday evening. The families of Reo Ulett, 11, and Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert, nine, from Manchester were described as frantic with worry after the boys went missing together on Monday evening.
A friend overheard the boys saying they were thinking about going camping. Neither of them had camping equipment, food or money with them. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester police said: “Reo Ulett and Lovelle Taylor-Hibbert have been found safe and well. We would like to thank the media for their help publicising this appeal and the public for their overwhelming response.”
Reo was last seen in Fallowfield at 5pm, wearing a grey Ralph Lauren tracksuit, black Nike T-shirt and black Nike Hirache trainers. He was due to visit his grandparents in nearby Levenshulme, but never arrived. A friend had overheard the boys saying they were thinking about going camping. Neither of them had camping equipment, food or money with them.
Lovelle was last seen leaving a property in Levenshulme at 8pm on the same evening, wearing a black hoodie, green jogging trousers and a gold and black T-shirt.
Insp Paul Coburn, from Greater Manchester police (GMP), said: “As people can imagine, their families are absolutely frantic with worry. We have been making numerous efforts to find these boys overnight and are appealing for the public to help us today.
“I would also like to let Reo and Lovelle know that if you can see or hear this appeal, you are not in any trouble, but please come home or call your family or the police to let us know you are safe.”
