Version 0 of 1.

The owners of a County Down holiday complex have evicted 35 members of the Young Farmers' Club of Ulster because of their behaviour.

The groups, from Garvagh and two from Ballymoney, had been staying at the Corn Mill Complex in Annalong.

However, the complex's management said they asked them to leave because of their rowdy and drunken behaviour.

A Young Farmers' Club statement said the organisation was "aware of an incident of horseplay".

"At present we are conducting an internal investigation with the clubs involved and will be meeting with management of the cottages as soon as possible," it said.

The group had been due to attend the club's annual conference at the Slieve Donard hotel in Newcastle, County Down.

Martin McMullan from the Corn Mill Complex said their behaviour had been unacceptable.

"It was an adult group," he said.

"They are part of a very structured organisation and when you let a group like that in to your venue you expect them to treat it with respect. That was far from the case."
