Missing Connor Jarvis: Parents told body found in Morocco is son

The parents of a teenager, who went missing during a solo trip to Morocco, have been told a body found on a mountainside is their "dear son".

Connor Jarvis, 19, was due to return home to Bath from Marrakech on Saturday night but was not on board his flight.

Avon and Somerset Police said a body had been located on Mount Toubkal in the Atlas mountains.

His parents John and Sian Jarvis, said the whole family thanked "everyone for their kind thoughts and messages".
