Police investigating the death of a mother are looking into possible sightings of her missing disabled son. Police investigating the disappearance of an "extremely vulnerable" disabled man say they have found a body.
Heather Wardle, 39, of Redditch, Worcestershire, and her son, James Hughes, 22, described as "extremely vulnerable", went missing on Friday. James Hughes and his mother Heather Wardle, of Redditch, Worcestershire, went missing on Friday.
Police confirmed the mother-of-four was found on Monday in undergrowth near her home with a ligature around her neck. West Mercia Police confirmed the mother-of-four's body was found on Monday in undergrowth near her home with a ligature around her neck.
A man, believed to be Mr Hughes, was seen pushing an empty wheelchair with a young woman in Redditch, police said. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body was found at a property in Churchill in Redditch.
Mr Hughes has the mental age of an 18-month-old and requires "round the clock care".

Supt Jane Horwood, from West Mercia Police, said he cannot feed himself or even communicate that he is hungry, and he does not usually respond to his own name.
He also needs medication for epilepsy, and without it is likely to have regular fits.
Supt Horwood said the force had received a number of calls from the public about the sighting on Monday afternoon in Arrow Valley Country Park.
She urged the pair to come forward as well as another man walking nearby whose dog jumped up at a person believed to be Mr Hughes.
"We are asking for these people to come forward so we can eliminate them from the inquiry," she said.
Ms Wardle left home on Friday, saying she was going to visit a friend nearby. Police have said it is not clear when Mr Hughes was last seen.
Toxicology tests
Her partner, Brian Kirby, 36, described her as a "brilliant mother".
He said she was a chatty, bubbly person, who got on well with neighbours and his family.
"It's very hard to accept and take in," he said.
"That wasn't the Heather I know. It's hurting me and the kids are also heartbroken and desperately missing her."
Her body was found in undergrowth off Winyates Way in the Church Hill area, less than a mile from where she lived with her son.
Police have said the death was being treated as unexplained.
A post-mortem examination took place on Tuesday but the results of toxicology tests are still awaited.
The search for Mr Hughes continues to be concentrated in the Church Hill area of the town and near to the family's home.
"We are trying to piece together James's movements over the weeks and months so we can piece together his lifestyle," Supt Horwood added.
"Heather was his main carer and he spent most of his time in his bedroom."
She said the force was "very pleased" with the response to appeals for information, particularly those in the Redditch area which were being followed up.
