West Somerset Coroner Michael Rose said the teenager had died of multiple injuries. Almost 350 mourners filled the chapel, while a further 100 schoolchildren filled the courtyard outside and dozens hung out classroom windows to listen to the service.
Her boyfriend James McLauchlan was among the pallbearers.
The Reverend David Owen paid tribute to fellow Ecuador coach crash victims Emily Sadler and Indira Swann - whose services were being simultaneously held elsewhere.
He thanked the congregation for wearing bright colours, as requested by Lizzie's family.
