Re “Is Sushi ‘Healthy’? Or Granola? Where Public and Experts Disagree” (The Upshot, July 5) and “Women Challenge the Gluttony Ceiling at a July 4 Ritual” (news article, July 5):

Evidently, while most nutritionists recognize the ills of one hot dog, eating a large number in a short period of time would seem to promote good health and set an example for others to beat at next year’s event.
