At least two police officers have reportedly been shot in Dallas at a Black Lives Matter march in the wake of the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.  Three police officers have died and ten have been shot by a sniper at a Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas.
​One officer at the scene told Fox News 4 in Dallas that at least two officers were wounded. A representative for the DPD was not immediately available to confirm those reports.  Police Chief David Brown said on Thursday that three officers were killed, two are in surgery and three remain in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
The suspect is still at large and this is considered by police to be an ongoing active shooter situation. Police are on the lookout for a “man with a rifle”, according to CBS DFW.  No suspects have been taken into custody and police said they have cornered at least one suspect while another remains at large.
